This week's monsoon surge ain't as bad as the previous one which occurred two weeks ago. Just intermediate light to medium shower with no thunder nor lightning. Looks like I am not the only passionate or crazy angler who is willing to brave the monsoon surge as I met another two guys who arrived about 30mins after me.

Caught 2 sizable Black Eeltail Catfishes. Maybe this is my first time processing my catch as skinning them is a pain in the ass. The skin is tough, leathery and slippery. Had a hard time holding and skinning them. The meat smells muddy too.

Got a big surprise when I retrieved my crab net as I though I caught something big in the trap, but after pulling it up to the top of the bridge, I realised it is a school of juvenile Striped Eeltail Catfishes. They are too young to be served on the dinner table, so release them back into the water.
